No referral is required to book MLD treatment in South Surrey. However, patients recovering from surgery may also be referred by their surgeon, physician, physiotherapist, or other healthcare provider.

How soon after surgery can I receive MLD?

The appropriate timing depends on the procedure and your surgeon's recommendations. Many patients seek post-operative recovery massage and lymphatic drainage during the early stages of healing.

Is MLD covered by extended health benefits?

As treatments are provided by a Registered Massage Therapist, many extended health plans may provide coverage. Please check with your insurance provider regarding your specific plan.

Do you direct bill extended health insurance?

Yes, we offer direct billing to most insurers. Pacific Blue Cross, Medavie, SunLife, Canada Life, Green Shield, Equitable Life, Chambers of Commerce Group Insurance, Manulife etc.

Do you accept ICBC claims or WSBC?

Demis Cabrele, RMT accepts ICBC claims. We do not accept WSBC claims.

Do I need a doctor’s referral?
